Problem Statement

Bikers experience issues with long-term spinal damage, being hit by motor vehicles, lack of vision, and having to stop frequently to view their phone for directions and other alerts.



The AirBike tackles common issues for frequent and first-time bike riders to ensure they remain safe, connected, and motivated to continue to make greener solutions during their daily commute.

Features

-Using lighting systems to enable the user to see while riding
-Light sensor to enable lights to turn on in low-light conditions
-Notification to user on AirPods, bike screen, watch, or phone
-Repair service from Local Certified AirBike Technicians
-Auto-Balance Technology for first-time bicycle riders
-Connectivity through MagSafe and Bluetooth
-Bike utilizes gyroscope technology to call for help
-AirBike cameras enable the user to stay safe while riding
-Vibrating Handlebars to tell the user which way to turn

Research

Research forms of research were conducted to ensure the user would benefit from the features of the bike to solve common and uncommon pain points. These included researching user comments, filmed experiences, existing branding elements, qualitative secondary research methods, and more.

He would benefit from features like auto balancing, tech-enabled navigation, crash detection, and bright LED lights for visibility.

Process

Reflection

Through the process of creating this project, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in product design within a 3D environment. This has allowed me to develop a diverse skillset, as I have been able to work on both the design and technical aspects of the project, ensuring that all deliverables align with the company's brand. 


Ultimately, this experience has showcased my ability to create high-quality deliverables that effectively reflect a company's branding within a 3D space.
