The Full Circle Project

"I want to show the world everything I can do."

The Full Circle Project is a series of NFT’s exclusively on Known Origin. The concept behind this NFT project is to create a project that displays all the skills I have learned through my career of being a designer. In this NFT project, I designed a set of five animated pieces, a line of clothing, and promotional videos depicting everything I can offer as a designer and multifaceted creative.

The pieces in this collection express fragments of my life during a time when I experienced a lot of changes. From the pandemic to breaking dependency and finding my own independence. The collection shows everything I am capable of as a designer from logo design to clothing design, and visual design. This collection is launched on Known Origin and was sold as NFT’s through the Ethereum blockchain. The collection ended with a giveaway to holders of my NFT’s on the Known Origin Platform.

“Getaway”

The first piece titled “Getaway” became the introduction piece to the collection. The piece features coded messages and things I felt in my personal life. Feeling isolated from the COVID-19 lockdowns spawned a feeling of loneliness which in turn supported the idea of being alone in the wilderness. Other fears of demons and aliens are used to further animate the piece to bring more movement to the otherwise static peice.

“Truly Devilish”

“Truly Devilish” plays on the emotions felt during a breakup and struggling to move on while reminding myself to move ahead. My thoughts felt intrusive despite being truthful and valid. The piece is littered with the full circle logo to enforce branding and utilizes high contrast with subject matter, colour and motion.

“55”

The piece “55” acts a reminder that family is important. My uncle passed at the age of 55 and he was frequently a man who would travel for work. This resonated with me as I have always wanted to leave my city behind and run away. Animated tire tread and lines on a road cross on the left side of the piece insinuating crossroads while a sign with “No Where” represents being unsure of where I will be in the future. Finally the subject of the piece shows a jarring image of a man with a deer skull head often linked to demonic presence to further link the ideal of fighting demons found in “Truly Devilish”

“Diamond Eyes”

“Diamond Eyes” represents the official birth of a character I have been hand animating in my crypto art pieces. This piece represents the feeling of running out of time and obsessing over the smaller details. The drawings on each piece are very close in proximity and create a sense of claustrophobia similar to when one has too much on their mind during a panic or anxiety attack. This piece would be later pushed further by creating a 3D animated character in Diamond Eyes.

“St.Sinner”

This piece is the first time I used myself as a subject. The phrase “Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future” has always resonated with me. People can change and break a cycle if they make the effort to do it for themselves. I talk about being tired of someone else and wanting to disappear while a wifi signal symbolizes the hope that someone that sees this feels the same. The top of the piece is an animated handwritten note describing the journey of the Full Circle project and its meaning. This fifth and final piece shows a “not for sale” title at the top. This piece was given to random collector of my previous work as a thank to those that have supported me.
